Description: As our numbers of special needs students increase in our classrooms ? students who have sensory, cognitive, or physical disabilities ? educators need to be able to access a larger set of skills as well as the tools to be able to meet their many diverse needs and learning styles. Promethean and CSI offer resources and tools that can meet these needs. This session will cover the use of the software and some engaging aspects, as well as the use of ActiVotes, ActivExpression, ActivWand, ActivSound, and more. Ms. Stengel will also discuss the use of certain sites, such as Tumble Books and Fun Brain, used by teachers that she has worked with in the last year that can assist these types of students.
