14 - High Performance Computer Clustering (HPC) and Complete Network Management with sFlow

Description: HPC products have not had an efficient way to provide detail in an Ethernet network without purchasing expensive external probes, or impacting performance. sFlow (RFC3176) enables the gathering of information from a network without any impact to performance. sFlow offers a methodology for embedding always-on packet sampling.

16 - Dynamic Data Warehousing and the State Data Manager

Description: This presentation will detail the State Data Manager, a SIF-based system that allows real time or nearly real time collection of data or “All the Data – All the Time”. We will discuss the data collection rules; data validation and cleansing for improved district level reporting. We will review how core data will be collected from the SASI student systems at the districts sent to the state.
