Attendee Professional Development Tracking Service

DESCRIPTION:
Each conference name badge is encoded with individual attendee information, which can be used to share your contact information with participating exhibitors or for recording your participation in presentations and workshops.
After the conference, a private electronic transcript will be made available to you on the EdTech website. You can use this conference transcript to give to your district human resources or professional development coordinator for possible professional development credits.
Items for Consideration as you plan your personal tracking:

District professional development coordinators are now responsible for granting professional development credit to those individuals who are employed by a district.

A transcript/certificate may not guarantee credit unless
(a) the conference is part of the educator's personal professional development plan
(b) the participating attendee attain "prior approval" for the event prior to registering/attending.
- Always check with your district Professional Development Coordinator or Human Resources officer to determine what is allowed in your particular district.
How to record your participation:
To take advantage of this free service while at the conference, simply ask the presentation monitor to scan your badge as you leave each presentation session. Your ID and session information will be recorded and added to your electronic transcript.
How to retrieve your transcript:
A link to the eTranscripts request form is located at the top of this page. Or you can click on the eTranscripts link on the front page of the EdTech website at http://www.scaet.org/edtech. From there just follow the instructions on the website to download your confidential and personal electronic conference transcript. You can print or email it to the appropriate person(s) in your district for professional development credits.
